Mishka (also known as Mishie-Mish)

Mishka is a desexed male Russian Blue, born on 26 May, 1998. His Dam is D.G.CH Tyana Krystia, and his Sire is Bronze D.G.CH Merlow Czar Taras. He was purchased from Tyana/Kirashan cattery and sent to Sydney on a plane when he was 4 months old. We met in very difficult conditions at Sydney airport. Mishka was scared, I was scared and we regarded one another with a little suspicion. I brought him home and he gradually emerged from his carry-cage and proceeded to worm his way into our lives.

We fell in love some months after our initial meeting, and I now regard him as my Beautiful or Gorgeous Boy. He was an active kitten who has matured into a handsome and loveable cat. He's developing a bit of a pudge in the belly now and he's very cuddly and loving.

Mishka is russian for Mouse; he was named Mishka for his squeaky little meow and quiet purr.

The Little Cat (TLC; also known as Elsie or Little Menace)

LC was with us only briefly. When I fell pregnant I became concerned about her behavioural problems and didn't feel I could trust her with a baby. Next thing I know she's also pregnant and the thought of me having to deal with her and kittens was too much. She was returned to the RSPCA (from whence she came) amidst many tears. These are some happy reminders.
